Valarie Wiggan

Born in Derby, Val grew up with her family on country in the Ardyaloon area.  Both of her parents are of Bardi Jawi decent.  It was a simple life and she was taught much about tradition, local language and culture and has great respect for these things. Val has just started working artistically with Ingarlgalandij Artists. She has a particular interest in dyeing fabric, with both local natural and commercial dyes.
